Batter up

There were two politi-cal games played this past Thursday. The first was played by the seven low-est in the polls, most of whom will be sent back to the minor leagues for ad-ditional seasoning.

The second game is where the top ten will do their thing. All vying for the top position in the GOP. The leading hitter in the polls is D. Trump facing the pitching ques-tions from Fox network’s M. Kelly on the mound. M. Kelly threw a number of fast balls at Trump, then struck him out with a low slider by asking him about his negative re-marks concerning fe-males. He did strike out swinging.

The next in line was Jeb Bush; his older broth-er and father had held the top spot in the political field. These two will be remembered for errors while in office. The broth-er for nearly emptying our treasury by his blun-dering into Iraq and the father will be remem-bered for his statement (Read My Lips).

Jeb Bush reached base on a walk by reminding the panel of the good work he accomplished while in office in Florida. Two rookies, Doc Benson and M. Rubio, showed much potential, while M. Huckabee in his role as a DH did well while at bat., he had clutch hits. T. Cruz went 4 for 4 and the New Jersey flash, C.C., now governor showed his moxie and grit while avoiding a vicious tag by R. Paul and came home safe. Rumors are now fly-ing around the circuit that D. Trump might jump to an independent league if things don’t go his way. The fans at the game seemed to enjoy what they saw and heard, as they were leaving one could hear them singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”

The next game sched-ule will be next week. All expenses and accommoda-tions for the players and friends will be funded by the Department of “See Your Tax Dollars in Ac-tion.”
