Bad cable cuts power

An unspecified number of SRP electrical customers were without power in Fountain Hills on Monday morning, Dec. 8.

SRP Spokeswoman Patti Likens said that a bad underground cable failed causing the outage beginning around 7:40 a.m. It appears that all power was restored by around 9:30 a.m.

Likens said SRP will be working to replace the bad underground cable at several locations in Fountain Hills.
