Back the Badge

I attended the Back the Blue event and found the speaker list and the words spoken to be overtly political in favor of Republican issues, their successful and their unsuccessful candidates.

As a Fountain Hills Democrat, I found this quite offensive. I wanted to honor the bravery and sacrifice of our first responders as much as anyone there. No politician should cloak themselves in that sacred mantle so they can gloat over their political talking points.

The Town of Fountain Hills should not lend its support to such efforts if they can’t insure it’s bi-partisan in nature.
