Avenue market

We have been winter residents of Fountain Hills for 18 years. As such, it is always interesting when we return to see what has changed and what has stayed the same.

My pleasant surprise of today was at the Wednesday market by the Fountain. The vegetable vendor at this site had a huge, artful display of high-quality produce, which delighted me. Other vendors had interesting small items that could be good stocking gifts.

The market was very poorly attended. When there is such a ready resource in our town it seems a shame that it is so poorly patronized. Those vendors will decide it is not worth their time and effort to locate where there is not enough traffic and revenue. I urge that neighbors check out this market and support this venue.
