Church of the Ascension is launching its 50th Anniversary Jubilee with a series of special events beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9. The celebrations will continue monthly, culminating in October 2026.

The Jubilee Year opens with a Holy Mass celebrated by former pastor Father John McDonough, who will also mark his 25th anniversary of priesthood, a dual milestone of faith and service.

Following the Mass, the church will unveil and bless its newly constructed Marian Garden and Fountain. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, this serene space offers a tranquil setting for prayer and reflection, welcoming all who seek peace and inspiration.

The day’s festivities will continue with a reception and fellowship meal, fostering community and connection among parishioners and guests.

To cap off the celebration, acclaimed musicians Josh and Erin Kludy will perform a free community concert at 6 p.m. All are warmly invited to attend and enjoy an uplifting evening of music, unity, and joy as the church embarks on its year-long Jubilee journey.

Church of the Ascension is located at 12615 N. Fountain Hills Blvd. For detailed event schedules and updates, visit ascensionfh.org.
