Art on the Avenue and Fountain Hills Farmers Market are returning for their fifth season…

Our fifth season is upon us, as Oct. 30 is our opening day. We will be setting up our first four weeks in front of the library due to construction on the Avenue. Hours are the same -- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

My vision of this event was to support our local artists and to increase foot traffic for our local businesses, and I feel this has been accomplished. We see many return customers season after season; it has been a day trip for many visitors from the Valley.

Our fifth season is upon us, as Oct. 30 is our opening day. We will be setting up our first four weeks in front of the library due to construction on the Avenue. Hours are the same -- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

I am so pleased to see all my artists returning for another great season, plus I have added many new artists. If anyone would like to display at our show please go to fhfarmersmarket.com for information and the application. Also, I provide free areas for all non-profit organizations of Fountain Hills.

To add to this great event will be the return of the Farmers Market. The managers of the Farmers Market are Aaron and Liz Eckburg, residents of Fountain Hills.

They will also be adding new vendors to the market. They are adamant on having only locally grown vegetables!

We our thrilled to have the Avenue median redone and feel it will be a real asset to the market. There is now room to have both Art on the Avenue and The Farmers Market to be next to each other on the east median. This has been requested from the beginning and we now have the room to accommodate this setup.

My passion has been always to see nothing but the best for our community. Art on the Avenue and Fountain Hills Farmers Market I believe is just one of our many assets to our great town.

Look forward to seeing you all this season; remember, shop local!
