Aniela Koscielak, 72, of Fountain Hills passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014. Aniela was born in Piekielnik, Poland.
She graduated from the Veterinary School in Nowy Targ in Poland and earned her associate degree as a veterinary technician there. She emigrated from Poland to Chicago in 1972.
She continued her education while working very hard in Chicago. Aniela became a lung specialist at the Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago and also a real estate agent and later a broker. In the ‘90s she founded her own real estate office in Chicago called Good Homes Realty.
During this time she was helping many of her family members get settled from their life in Poland to the USA. Even though she did not have her own children she was very devoted to her family, brothers and sisters, and their children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helena; brothers, Josef and Wladyslaw; and her fiancée, Eugenie Maslowicz.
Aniela’s surviving family includes her sisters, Maria, Anna, Zofia; and her brothers, Stanislaw, Jan, and Edward.
Her passions included horses, nature, traveling, and photography. She was very independent and was a great role model for her siblings. The impact she made on her family and friends is everlasting; she lived large and was loved by many.
A celebration of her life was held March 13, 2014 at Church of the Ascension, Fountain Hills.
