Alex Klokner, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Nov. 20, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jackie Klokner. He also leaves behind his son, Barry Klokner; daughters, Lisa McCarville and Susie Neal; seven grandchildren and a great-grand daughter.

Alex was born in Milwaukee, Wis. on May 26, 1932 but resided in Arizona for close to 60 years with over 40 of those years being in Fountain Hills. He and Jackie also enjoyed spending their summers in Oracle, Ariz.

Alex was a Korean War army veteran and had an engineering career at Salt River Project where he retired. He was known for his honesty and hard work for which he felt great satisfaction in making a contribution to society.

His passion for working with his hands, whether it be maintaining his yard, cooking or planning and executing the many projects he had going, made him the envy of those much younger than him. He took great pride in doing things for himself rather than hire someone to do them for him. He was quite the handyman.

Alex/dad will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his family and friends. We can find peace in knowing that he has reunited with his parents, Alex and Dolores; brother, Ronnie; and beloved dog, Daisy Mae in heaven. We love you, Dad!

Services will be private.
