Ozone levels are expected to reach the unhealthy levels for individuals with respiratory ailments, particularly the young and elderly.
The air quality advisory will trigger the Maricopa County pollution control restrictions including a ban on wood burning, the use of commercial leaf blowers and off road travel or recreation.

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has extended a High Pollution Advisory for ozone through Friday, July 26.
Ozone levels are expected to reach the unhealthy levels for individuals with respiratory ailments, particularly the young and elderly.
The air quality advisory will trigger the Maricopa County pollution control restrictions including a ban on wood burning, the use of commercial leaf blowers and off road travel or recreation.
People with respiratory problems are advised to remain indoors during the advisory.
