Have you been to Adero Canyon? The remote, breathtaking area has several hiking trails set up for beginners and for the experienced hiker. The landscape is unusual, with unique rock formations and vegetation, and the view is spectacular; so make sure you have your cell phone to take pictures.

The road is unpaved but passable, and there are restrooms at the site which are clean. I also noticed that bikes are allowed, and did see mountain bikes on the path I was on. I wonder if there are any hiking clubs organized in town?

If you end up going, don’t forget to strike up a conversation about Fountain Hills and the unique environment we live in. I passed and conversed with a couple who were almost 90. Life is precious, so get out and experience it!
