AAA offers rides for those celebrating too much on St. Patrick's Day

AAA wants everyone to get home safely this St. Patrick’s Day, and that’s no blarney. That’s why the club will again offer its Tipsy Tow service.

“St. Patrick’s Day is one of the most deadly for alcohol-related crashes. If you’ll be celebrating the wearin’ of the green by drinking, include a safe ride home in your plans,” said Linda Gorman, director of communications and public affairs for AAA Arizona. “If you find yourself in a pinch, AAA’s Tipsy Tow will be available to get you home safely.”

AAA’s Tipsy Tow service will start at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 17, and will run through 6 a.m. Friday, March 18. Drivers, passengers, party hosts, bartenders and/or restaurant managers should: Call 1-800-AAA-HELP (1-800-222-4357) between 6 p.m. March 17 and 6 a.m. March 18. They should state that they need a “Tipsy Tow.” Provide the driver’s name, home address, phone number and vehicle/driver location.
