A question

As I sit at my computer this morning I can’t help but hope that the Wednesday Times will not have some person spewing their hatred and intolerance. Why do some people seem to not only wish to be their brother’s keeper, but their conscience as well? Seems to me we should all take a page out of the Pope’s book and ask the question, “Who am I to judge?” While I believe the founders of this country were mostly Christian, I doubt if they thought everyone else should be. It they had, the constitution would have had an Article making that clear.

There are things I know to be true, and others I believe to be true. I know that Hillary Clinton is a liar, and I believe her to be a crook, as well. I know that Donald Trump is an idiot and this country would be the laughing stock of the world if he were elected president.

I know that Dorothy Wolovlek (of last week’s letters) is incapable of writing a coherent or complete sentence. Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary has her picture next to the word Solecism. After reading her ramblings, all I can say is “HUH?” One can only conclude that she leaves out all the words that would make her thoughts marginally understandable, so she can get in under the 300 word maximum. I also know that everyone who writes letters to the editor believes they are using “facts” to support their argument. Why would Peggy Purvis think that her arguments contain the only real facts? That gets another “HUH”.
