William P. Langham

William “Bill” P. Langham, 71, of Fountain Hills died Jan. 17, 2019. He lived in Fountain Hills for nearly 30 years and was a former resident of Spring Valley, Ill., and Peru, Ill. Bill was born Oct. 29, 1947 in East St. Louis, Ill. to Karl and Rita (Keegan) Langham. He was a 1965 graduate of St. Bede Academy. He married Irene Trimble on June 7, 1969 in St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Milan, Ill.

Bill will be remembered by his family and friends for his competitive spirt, humor, love and generosity.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; two sons, Richard (Michele) Langham of Overland Park, Kan. and Gary (Laurie Oddi) Langham of Manhasset, N.Y.; two daughters, Sarah (Jason) Duran of Gold Canyon, Ariz. and Margaret (Shahbaz) Munir of Scottsdale; five grandchildren, Gabriel, Lily, Luke, Hudson and Haris; two brothers, James Langham of Fountain Hills, and Robert (Roberta) Langham of Huntley, Ill.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Patricia Langham of Peru, Ill, Janet Langham of Peru, Ill., William (Barb) McGarry of Fountain Hills, Charles (Bev) Trimble of Fountain Hills, Thomas (Joy) Trimble of Louisville, Ky., Michael (Kate) Trimble of Johnston, Iowa, Patrick (Marikay) Trimble of Sanibel, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was predeceased by his parents; brothers, K. Thomas Langham and J. Michael Langham; brother-in-law, Lawrence Trimble, and sister-in-law, Janice Langham.

A small gathering of his family was held in honor of Bill the evening of Jan. 20 in Fountain Hills.
