Balance program planned

The award-winning A Matter of Balance program is being offered at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N. La Montana Dr. Workshops are held on Fridays from Sept. 2 through Oct. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m.
A Matter of Balance helps individuals feel more at ease on their feet and emphasizes practical strategies to reduce the risk of falling. Participants will set goals for increasing activity and make changes to reduce fall risk at home and learn exercises to increase strength and balance.
All workshops are presented by doctoral students from the School of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University in Mesa.
This popular program is limited to 15 participants. Free for Community Center members and pre-registration is required. Call the Community Center at 480-816-5200 to register
