Although the new owner of Creative Child Care, Sarah Alexander, retained the name after she acquired the business in February, she wants prospective clients to know about the changes that she has already instituted or plans in the near future.
She has scheduled an open house from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, to share her ideas and enroll youngsters.
A fresh coat of paint is the latest interior remodeling project. The building was constructed in 1995 as a childcare facility.
The mother of four from Peoria said she also knows the importance of Mom and Dad spending quality time together.
She provides child care every Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, so parents can plan a Parents’ Night Out. Enrollment in the daycare program is not required. Reservations are required for children between the ages of one and 12 years.
The pre-school childcare facility at 17150 E. Amhurst Drive is licensed by Arizona State Department of Health and Maricopa County Health Department for 45 children.
Four instructors provide a structured pre-school and kindergarten prep program.
Alexander introduces the youngsters to science and math and develops their sensory and motor skills.
The daycare promotes a home environment, said Alexander. “I feel like they’re my kids,” a feeling that she said her employees share.
Her background includes providing child care for four years out of her home and employment as an environmental infection control specialist in a hospital.
Creative Child Care is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. It closes for only five holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
