Members and interested citizens are invited to the Fountain Hills Sister Cities Corporation annual meeting Monday, Feb. 27, at 5:30 p.m.

The group will gather in the private dining room at Sofrita where appetizers and soft drinks will be served. A happy hour cash bar will be available. There is no other charge.

The program will include a PowerPoint review of the October 2016 high school exchange program when students from Poland and Germany were hosted by local families. The students participated in painting a mural of their various activities at the Grand Canyon, Sedona, horseback riding at Ft. McDowell Adventures and kayaking on the Salt River.

Sister Cities board members will be elected by the membership, and the upcoming May 2017 exchange of Fountain Hills students to Germany and Poland will be discussed.

Fountain Hills currently has four Sister Cities – Kasterlee, Belgium; Dierdorf, Germany; Zamosc, Poland, and Ataco, El Salvador.
