Freeze warning for overnight Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the area that includes Fountain Hills from 11 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 through 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Forecast temperatures are as low at 31 degrees in the area.

People are reminded to dress warm if they are out and also protect plants, pets and pipes against the freezing temperatures overnight.

Rain is forecast to begin late Wednesday and continue into Friday.
