Congratulations to Mayor-elect Ginny Dickey, Mike Scharnow, David Spelich and Alan Magazine for successful campaigns for council.
I look forward to working with each of you as we continue to discuss solutions to our town’s financial shortfalls, ongoing infrastructure needs and overall vision challenges. It’s time to work together and come up with viable solutions to the issues that the community will support. I look forward to working together to do all we can for the residents of our amazing town.
I also congratulate the candidates that did not win council seats, Sharron Grzybowski, Gerry Friedel and Marcus Bulow Von Dennewitz. Thank you for offering your services. Our town council meetings are open to the public and I encourage all of the candidates and the many other residents (social media groups as well) to attend the meetings in person, comment on agenda items and participate in the process.
Lastly, I wish to thank Cecil Yates, Nick DePorter, Henry Leger and Mayor Linda Kavanagh for their years of service on the council. Each one of the outgoing council (Dec. 2018) worked very hard on solving the challenges we face as a community and deserve respect and appreciation. Thank you.
