Music on the Avenue (of the Fountains) has become a springtime tradition in Fountain Hills and once again each Thursday this April will feature one of the popular bands that allow this tradition to attract people to the downtown.
The live music concerts take place from 6 to 8 p.m. and feature a band along with an acoustic artist. Bands play on the plaza mid-way between Saguaro Boulevard and Verde River Drive. The acoustic artists perform at Nichols Plaza on the western end of the Avenue between Verde River Drive and La Montana Drive.
The Town of Fountain Hills is bringing a high caliber of musical talent to this series beginning Thursday, April 4, with the Chuck Hall Band in concert. The individual artist is Kailin Kentigian.
Thursday, April 11, The Painted Cave Band will perform along with Ritchie Fliegler.
Lucas Brown and the Night’s Watch will play Thursday, April 18, with Dave Clark playing acoustic.
The events close out Thursday, April 25, with the Copper State Blues Band. Brady Gray is the solo acoustic performer.
Residents are invited to bring a picnic dinner or take-out from a nearby restaurant and enjoy the music. Yard games will be set up along the Avenue for activity.
The concerts are free.
