Nonprofit organizations serving youth, families and seniors in Fountain Hills and the surrounding area are invited to apply for a 2024 grant from the Fountain Hills Community Foundation.

Grant requests are accepted June 1-30 and are based on a variety of criteria including community impact, need, effectiveness, feasibility and sustainability, according to a press release.

The maximum grant award is $5,000.

Applicants must be a 501(c)3 organization and describe how they serve the Fountain Hills community.

The Giving Committee will evaluate each application and make grant recommendations to the Fountain Hills Community Foundation Board for approval.

Awards will be distributed in October at the FHCF’s annual meeting. An online application is available at fountainhillsgives.com/grant-process.

The FHCF provides additional funding for educational, cultural and humanitarian nonprofit organizations operating within Fountain Hills and the surrounding community. The organization, originally known as the Sunridge Foundation, was formed in 1995.

To date, it has provided more than $1.5 million in financial support for local nonprofits.
