American Legion Post 58 hosts weekly events
American Legion Post 58 hosts weekly events that are open to the public, including Bingo every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
On Friday, Feb. 16, “Tim Mass Band” performs from 6 to 9 p.m.
On Saturday, Feb. 17, Mike and Susie perform from 6 to 9 p.m.
The community is invited to attend. Events are held at the American Legion Post 58, 16837 E. Parkview Ave.
Take Off Pounds Sensibly welcomes newcomers
Anyone looking for weight-loss support and to start or continue their journey of weight-loss is invited to join TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Fountain Hills chapter every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Chapter meetings are held at Joy Church, 13430 N. Saguaro Blvd. Use the front entrance of the church and follow the signs.
Al-Anon holds regular meetings
Al-Anon family meetings are held each Saturday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in the classroom building.
The only requirement to attend is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Attendees will find hope as members share their experiences, strength and hope.
Shepherd of the Hills is located at 16150 E. El Lago Blvd.
The Spanish Conversation Group celebrates 30 years
The Spanish Conversation Group of Fountain Hills is celebrating its 30th anniversary on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Its members invite any former members to join in the celebration. For details, email Janet at macex4@msn.com.
Lions Club holds art raffle
The Lions Club of Fountain Hills is hosting a raffle for a Russ Fields photograph of wild horses. Each raffle ticket is $5.

Community Center Contract Bridge winners posted
Contract bridge is played every Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Community Center. Membership in the Community Center is required to participate.
Winners from Feb. 2 include Ron Bredemann in fist place, Guy Rolfsrud in second place and Elen Drazev in third place. Winners from Feb . 7 include Clifford King in first place, Joanne Arneson in second place and Merle Larkin in third place.
Rotary Club of Fountain Hills hosts speakers
The Fountain Hills Rotary Club will host Amanda Moore, CEO and co-founder of Reigning Grace Ranch in Rio Verde Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Held at the American Legion Post 58, 16837 E. Parkview Ave., the Rotary Club of Fountain Hills meets at 4 p.m. every first and third Tuesday of the month.
Botanical Garden seeks volunteers
The Fountain Hills Desert Botanical Garden is looking for volunteers to join its cause to keep the trail in good condition for all to use.
The garden requires stewardship from the community to keep the trail accessible to all.
