The River of Time Museum and Exploration Center will feature the work of FHUSD K-12 art students with a special reception Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m.
At the reception, students and teachers will be on hand to discuss their work and elements of the current art curriculum.
McDowell Mountain Elementary Art Teacher Tracy Perry has helped coordinate the exhibition with Fountain Hills Middle School Art Teacher Leanne Reinhold and Fountain Hills High School Art Teacher Marissa Colon.
Teachers choose student art representatives of each grade level, according to a press release.
The March 9 opening is an opportunity for residents to view work by local students, have light snacks and visit the Riverbanks gift shop all for no charge, the release said.
The River of Time Museum & Exploration Center is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
