The annual ASU Lecture Series at the Verde Communities continues each week through Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Community Church of the Verdes. Each program begins at 4 p.m.
The lecturers scheduled for the remaining series include the following.
*Feb. 20: Two Decades of NASA Satellite Observations of Changing Water Availability, and Implications for Arizona with Professor Jay Famigliatti, Chief Scientist, Arizona Water Innovation Initiative, School of Environment and Sustainability.
*Feb. 27: Landscapes of Extraction: The Art of Mining in the American West with Professor Besty Fahlman, Art Historian, School of Art.
All Verdes residents and their guests are invited to attend the lectures. The series is organized by Frank Haggard.
