Last week, my wife Judy wrote a letter to the editor with regard to the Botanical Garden. I was mistakenly credited with her letter. Likely, it was sent by email and under my name from a common email address we use.
Judy has many interests, enjoys volunteering and has been active in the community. Previously, she served on the Planning and Zoning board, organizes and does much of the management of an Antique Club and two book clubs and, of course, she writes the bird column which appears regularly in this paper.
It is well known by her fellow volunteers that, if they want to get something done, they can count on Judy to go the extra mile.
However, her greatest interest is the Botanical Garden. She can be seen there several days a week either working on the trail or just enjoying a solitary walk in the garden. On one of those walks, she picked up a large rock on the trail to move it aside. Much to her dismay, there was a huge “deposit” under that rock left by a massive dog.
Dog owners, be responsible and pick up, as other will be walking those trails. Don’t make my valentine do your job!
