DeGeorge Partners has announced its upcoming workshop titled “Retirement’s Next Steps,” designed to guide individuals toward a fulfilling retirement journey.
The workshop will take place Thursday, March 28, at the Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty office on the Avenue of the Fountains.
Russ Lyon Sotheby’s welcomes participants from all walks of life who are navigating the transition into retirement, according to a press release.
Retirement is a significant life milestone that marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunities and challenges, the release continued, adding that the “Retirement’s Next Steps” workshop aims to equip attendees with the knowledge, tools and strategies necessary to make informed decisions and embrace retirement with confidence and purpose.
The workshop will feature distinguished speakers, each bringing expertise in crucial aspects of retirement planning, the release said.
This month’s keynote speaker is Don Rice, also known as the “AZ Insurance Guy,” who specializes in insurance and Medicare options for individuals aged 65 and above.
Rice will provide insights into navigating the complexities of insurance coverage and Medicare, offering attendees clarity and confidence in their healthcare decisions.
The workshop will be held at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s, 16872 E. Avenue of the Fountains starting at 4 p.m.
Current housing trends
Karen DeGeorge of DeGeorge Partners will also offer a comprehensive market update on current housing trends and information specific to Fountain Hills. Russ Lyon Sotheby’s Realtor Jill Templeton-Haislip will give insight and tips for those navigating the purchase of another home, a new home, multi-generational living or senior living communities.
Those considering downsizing, relocating or investing in real estate can gain guidance from DeGeorge’s and Templeton-Haislip’s presentations, the release said.
Templeton-Haislip will also speak at the Fountain Hills Community Center Thursday, April 18, about common concerns and practical tips for navigating the real estate market in the later stages of life.
