Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, March 28, through Wednesday, April 3.

Thursday, March 28

*A resident of the 16000 block of Bainbridge Ave. reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information to open credit accounts.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported that an unknown subject took the victim’s wristwatch from their residence.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Palatial Drive. A driver was stopped for speeding, traveling 66 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. A check of records revealed that the driver was operating the vehicle on a suspended driver license. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies received a report from the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. that an unknown subject took a political campaign sign from a commercial property.

*Deputies received a report from the 16000 block of Paul Nordin Parkway that an unknown subject took prescription medication from a business.

Friday, March 29

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Brockway Lane where they contacted a subject with an outstanding warrant. The subject was arrested.

*Deputies responded to Palisades Boulevard and La Montana Drive. A traffic collision occurred when a driver failed to yield from a stop sign at an intersection. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to Panorama Drive and Saguaro Boulevard for a traffic collision when a driver backed their vehicle into another vehicle attempting to go around a traffic obstruction. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed from the scene.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Zane Grey Lane reported that a subject trespassed on a residential property. The victim was unwilling to aid in prosecution.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Heather Drive reported a subject trespassed in the back yard of a residence. Deputies contacted the subject. A records check revealed the subject had several warrants. The subject was booked into jail for trespassing and the warrants.

Saturday, March 30

*Deputies responded to Monterey and Hillcrest drives where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.

Sunday, March 31

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Escondido Drive where a domestic violence incident was reported.

Monday, April 1

*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of La Montana Drive where they conducted a civil standby.

Tuesday, April 2

*A resident of the 15000 block of Tepee Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information to open credit accounts.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Grassland Drive reported that a subject trespassed in a private residence.

*Deputies responded to La Montana Drive and El Lago Boulevard for a collision when a vehicle struck a parked vehicle. The driver left the area without reporting the incident.

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Grassland Drive where a subject contacted on a call for service was found to have multiple warrants after a check of records. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.

Wednesday, April 3

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains where a collision occurred after a driver inadvertently accelerated in a parking space hitting a wall. No injuries were reported.
