Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, April 4, through Wednesday, April 10.

Thursday, April 4

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject took an item from a vehicle parked outside a business.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Zane Grey Lane reported a trespassing incident.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Palisades Boulevard at Vista Drive for a moving violation. Upon contacting the driver deputies initiated a DUI investigation and the driver was issued a criminal citation for DUI.

Friday, April 5

*Deputies responded to Chama and Arroyo Vista drives where a traffic collision occurred when a vehicle rear ended a garbage truck that was picking up trash. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Golden Eagle Blvd. reported that an unknown subject took a package from the front porch of a residence.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject damaged a vehicle parked outside of a business.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of La Montana Drive where it was reported that a subject assaulted the victim while being disorderly in a public location. The suspect was issued a criminal citation.

Saturday, April 6

*A resident of the 16000 block of Zane Grey Lane reported a domestic violence incident. The suspect was booked into jail.

*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a victim was assaulted by two unknown subjects outside of a business.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Valencia Drive reported that an unknown subject stole items from a storage POD located at a residence.

Sunday, April 7

*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Arista Lane where it was reported that an unknown subject took the homeowner’s vehicle without permission from a short-term rental home.

*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Pulve Court. A vehicle collision occurred when a driver lost control and struck an embankment. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported that an unknown subject opened credit accounts in the victim’s name.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject took the victim’s bike from the front of a business. The victim was unwilling to aid in prosecution.

*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject broke the window of a vehicle and took items from within while the vehicle was parked at a business.

Tuesday, April 9

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject backed into another vehicle and fled the scene in the parking lot of a business.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Eagle Ridge Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject took the victim’s wallet while at a business.

Wednesday, April 10

*A resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information to create medical bills without permission.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Palatial Drive. A driver was stopped for criminal speed traveling 77 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Panorama Drive where a collision occurred after a vehicle failed to yield from an intersection. No injuries were reported; no vehicles were towed from the scene.
