Members of the Jewish community are invited to participate in Chabad of Fountain Hills’ Community Seder set Monday, April 22, at 7 p.m. at the Chabad Edelman Jewish Center, 16830 E. Avenue of the Fountains.
The Seder will feature a rich discussion about Passover, food and singing according to a press release.
The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated this year from sundown Monday, April 22, until after nightfall Tuesday, April 30. Passover commemorates the exodus of the Jews from Egypt and will be celebrated with festive “Seder” dinners on April 22 and April 23.
Other holiday observances include restricting the consumption of leavened products such as bread and pasta and instead eating unleavened matzah.
