Boosting enrollment discussed in Fountain Hills

Social media, marketing main topics

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Community Advisory Committee met Oct. 28 to discuss ways to increase enrollment through improved marketing, social media and outreach to families moving into the area.

Committee members agreed to bring a proposal to the governing board outlining a job description and potential payment structures for someone to manage the district’s social media, along with a plan to establish a marketing subgroup.

Ideas included improving the district’s Facebook presence, creating Instagram and TikTok accounts, promoting athletics and clubs, highlighting unique facilities such as the planetarium, developing promotional materials for real estate agents and improving website navigation.
