Turkey Trot open to early registrations

There’s still time to complete an early registration for the annual Turkey Trot 5K run and one-mile fitness walk on Thanksgiving morning in Fountain Hills.
Beat the crowd and get ready to join the Fountain Hills community with early registration forms available at Town Hall. Once completed, just turn it in to Community Services at the second floor customer service counter.
Early registration fees are $20 per runner, $15 for runners age 12 and younger and $10 for those walking.
The early registration deadline is next Thursday, Nov. 20. Late registration fees are $30 per runner, $15 per walker and $20 for runners 12 and under.
Registration is also available online at www.fh.az.gov/recreation or at www.active.com.
Thursday, Nov. 27, there will be on-site registration beginning at 5:45 a.m. (closing at 6:45 a.m.) Check in for the event begins at the Community Center at 6 a.m. until 7:15 a.m.
The race begins in the Library/Museum parking lot with the official start at 7:30 a.m.
Hang around after the race and enjoy the Chamber of Commerce Thanksgiving Day Parade on Saguaro Boulevard beginning at 9 a.m.
