Storytellers returning to Fountain Hills

Free community event invites tales of ‘An Unexpected Guest’

The popular Storytellers series returns to the Fountain Hills Community Center from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, inviting local voices to share stories on this year’s theme, “An Unexpected Guest.”

Presented by the Fountain Hills Friends of the Library, the event will feature five to six storytellers recounting true stories about an unusual or surprising visitor — whether human, animal or something entirely unexpected.

As a special treat, Dale Nelson, founder of the Fountain Hills Saxophone Quartet, will perform smooth jazz.
