Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Aug. 21 through Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Thursday, Aug. 21
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Bainbridge Ave. where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Aug. 21 through Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Thursday, Aug. 21
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Bainbridge Ave. where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where it was reported that a subject stole money from a business. The victim did not wish to aid in prosecution.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Shoot Out Plaza reported a violation of a court order.
Friday, Aug. 22
*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills and Shea boulevards for a reported traffic collision. According to deputies a driver failed to control speed to avoid a collision and rear ended a stopped vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Almont Drive reported a domestic violence assault incident.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where a vehicle/pedestrian collision was reported. Deputies report that a driver backing out of a parking spot at a business struck a pedestrian. No injuries were reported. The driver left the area without making a report.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Kendall Drive for a report that a subject threw a rock through the window of a neighbor’s residence. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject shoplifted merchandise from a business and returned the items fraudulently.
Saturday, Aug. 23
*Deputies responded to Palisades and Golden Eagle boulevards where a traffic collision was reported. According to MCSO a driver made an improper left turn and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
Sunday, Aug. 24
*A resident of the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. reported a domestic violence fight incident.
Monday, Aug. 25
*Deputies responded to Golden Eagle Boulevard and Desert Canyon Drive where a traffic collision was reported. Deputies report that a driver made an improper turn and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported. A vehicle was towed from the scene.
*Deputies received a report that an unknown subject stole jewelry from the victim’s residence.
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. According to deputies the driver was traveling 77 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*A resident of the 17000 block of Salida Drive reported that an unknown subject defrauded the victim of approximately $7,000 as part of a phone based fraudulent scheme.
*A resident of the 17000 block of El Pueblo Blvd. reported that an unknown subject posing as an attorney scammed the victim out of approximately $22,000.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported a domestic violence assault incident.
Tuesday, Aug. 26
Deputies responded to Saguaro and Fountain Hills boulevards for a reported two-vehicle traffic collision. See separate report on this incident.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Edgeworth Drive reported that an unknown subject stole a firearm from a residence.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a subject shoplifted items from a business. Deputies contacted the subject who was issued a criminal citation.
Wednesday, Aug. 27
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speeding on McDowell Mountain Road, MP 1. According to the report the driver was traveling 77 miles per hour where the speed limit is 45. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Ibsen Drive reported that an unknown subject stole a utility trailer that was parked on a vacant lot.
