Paige Productions Youth Theater (PYT) has announced its upcoming performance of “Madagascar: A Musical Adventure JR,” featuring talented young actors from its Summer Camp program.
The show promises to be a vibrant, fun-filled experience that will delight audiences of all ages, a press release said.
“Madagascar: A Musical Adventure JR” is 60 minutes long with performances Friday, June 14, at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Based on the beloved DreamWorks animated film, “Madagascar: A Musical Adventure JR” follows the hilarious and heartwarming journey of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo and the plotting penguins as they escape from New York’s Central Park Zoo and embark on an unexpected adventure to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.
According to the press release, this youth production captures the essence of the original movie with catchy songs, dynamic dance numbers and colorful characters that will transport the audience to the wilds of Madagascar.
The cast includes Matt Schmidt, Sophia Ricciardi, Jordan Abrams, Paige Underwood, Frankie Benevento, Jacob Aberle, Alexander Stahlman, Mia Huang, Sunny Sienknecht and Isabella Splittorff.
The cast also includes Aiden Di Raffaele, Stella Buck, Kinley Clark, Melody Beckman, Alex Di Raffaele, Roman Vonderheide, Lexi Laukaitis, Violet Wilson, Roman Vonderheide, Mia Huang, Anika Hingorani, Olivia Schweikert, Violet Wilson, Caleb Aberle, Vivienne Pameditis and Hayden Sexton Rogers.
