To complete its Christmas commitment to the Children’s Cancer Network, Four Peaks Women’s Club (FPWC) decorated 20 Christmas trees for families with children with cancer.
Decorating Christmas trees and shopping for a family with a child with cancer are a few of the most participated projects the club has each year.
“The holidays are very stressful for these families, and it is a great pleasure for the club to be able to help them during this time,” a press release read.
After the decorating was complete, the committee hosted the volunteers to a lunch at the home of Joyce Stehlik.
The Children’s Cancer Network is a 501c3 organization that supports Arizona children and families throughout the cancer journey with programs and services designed to provide financial assistance, promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles and create an awareness of issues they face related to childhood cancer.
