The Fountain Hills Theater (FHT) has announced its 2024-2025 season of productions featuring musicals, comedies, a visit with Pan and Hook and even a trip “Under the Sea.”
FHT will also feature Neil Simon’s famous autobiographical trilogy, “Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues and Broadway Bound,” when audiences can enjoy the exploits of Simon’s alter-ego, Eugene, as he journeys from childhood through adulthood in all three of Simon’s award-winning plays.
The season begins Aug. 16 with the first in the Neil Simon Trilogy, “Brighton Beach Memoirs,” followed by “Ragtime The Musical,” which plays Sept. 6-22.
The whodunnit mystery comedy “Triple Threat” plays Oct. 11-27 followed by part two of the Neil Simon Trilogy, “Biloxi Blues,” playing Nov. 8-24.
Ringing in the holiday season is “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some)!” playing Dec. 6-22 followed by Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” playing Jan. 31, 2025, through Feb. 16.
Part three of the Neil Simon Trilogy plays Feb. 28, 2025, through March 16 entitled, “Broadway Bound” and Rick Elice’s musical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s “Peter and the Star Catcher” performs March 28, 2025, through April 13.
Rounding out the season is Larry Gelbart’s “City of Angels” playing May 9-25.
The Youth Theater will present four shows this season including “The Little Princess Sara Crewe,” “Elf, JR,” “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood” and “Miss Minnie’s Melodramodeon.”
With the theater’s Mainstage, Mainstage Too and Youth Theater, FHT is home to three award-winning theaters.
Season ticket packages offer savings ($10 off regular adult ticket price for Mainstage shows) and flexibility of using tickets any show this season.
Ticket prices will increase on August 16.
