Golf squad preparing to wrap season

With only one match this past week, the Fountain Hills High School golf team is continuing to impress as members get closer and closer to the state tournament.

The Falcons’ only match of last week was on April 9 at Desert Canyon Golf Course. FHHS hosted American Leadership Academy Gilbert, Payson, Tempe Prep, Rancho Solano and Ben Franklin with Falcon Alex Schafer emerging as the top golfer, shooting two over.

Fountain Hills golf has two matches this week. The first was on Monday, April 15, against Ben Franklin, Gilbert Classical and Valley Christian.

The second match is on April 18 at We-Ko-Pa golf course against Arizona Leadership Academy Gilbert, Phoenix Country Day School and Ben Franklin.
