Cross country taking a break

The Fountain Hills High School cross country team traveled to Irvine, Calif., this past week to compete in the Woodbridge Classic.

While Fountain Hills runners were unable to place, the field was packed with runners from hundreds of competing teams.

Cross Country will be taking the next two weeks off and will return Oct. 11 at Crossroad Parks to run against Chandler Prep.
