I returned to my car in the Post Office parking lot and looked up to see a man with a white cane trying to cross Avenue of The Fountains from the north. Two cars came from the west, made a rolling stop and left. The man finally got across the street and started up the sidewalk to the Post Office.

I thought how wrong a roundabout would be at that corner; this speeds up traffic and cars do not have to stop. Consider two retirement villages and Park Place, all within walking distance of the Post Office, banks, library, town hall, etc.

Do you really think speeding up traffic at that corner is a good idea?
