What happened to Memorial Day? I remember going to the cemetery to honor family members who proceeded to assist Jesus to prepare a place for me! Some were former military members who gave their lives for the cause and God bless their souls.
But doesn’t it seem that now the day is being devoted to those military members and excluding our forefathers, especially by the media? How can we ignore this? Some of us are so far away it prevents an on-site honor. But we still can offer God a prayer for those waiting for us.
Call me a religious nut, but here goes! God bless my resting family, Mother, Father and my two soldier brothers and may all the saints praise the Father in Heaven.
I hope other local citizens that agree will speak out.
