Last night I heard what sounded like coyotes attacking a small dog. It made my heart sick. People need to be aware of the dangers from wild predatory animals who roam our neighborhoods daily.
There are javelina, bobcats, owls, coyotes and even a stray mountain lion from time to time. I have seen and heard about coyotes scaling a tall wall with ease. Same with wild cats and owls, which can easily carry away a small pet that happens to be in a back yard unattended.
Protect your beloved pets by staying by their side at all times when outdoors. From one who learned the hard way.
