Our mayor

Posted

I have known Ginny Dickey since our boys were in religious education classes and in school together. I have lived here 33 years. It was with great distress that I saw the negative, lying, misleading ads about a sterling servant and representative of our town.

I watched Ginny start her elected service when she first was elected to the Fountain Hills School Board. She served with honor and distinction. To suggest that she does not have the interest of our students at heart, should she be mayor, is ludicrous and a blatant lie! Look deeper into the local issue and you will find out why Ginny was out with so many others. There is indeed more to the story, my fellow voters.

She then went on to serve on the council with the best reputation ever! It is her honor and service to this town that has been seen. To suggest that she would do less is absurd. She will represent Republicans, Independents, Conservatives and those who could not care less because they are too busy, sick or just looking at our town; and yes, even Democrats, God save them!

She will indeed be a sterling mayor. She will wow our Sister City visitors because she will truly listen to them and not brag about what she has done, though indeed her record of service to her home town speaks for itself.

Please do not fall for those who want you to fear Ginny. Meet her. You will see for yourself she is special and we would be a blessed town to have her as our mayor, in my humble opinion.
