As with any leader I elect to support, capability, vision and trust are paramount. If a candidate brings years of leadership experience to the table, they have my vote. If a candidate has their priorities straight, they have my vote. If a candidate can be trusted to perform the duties of an office in the interests of his or her constituents, they have my vote.
I believe that Ginny Dickey is exceptionally capable, has a vision for the Town of Fountain Hills that we can agree on and, most importantly, can be trusted in all of her interactions with her constituents, with the council and with businesses and other organizations. As you have surely seen in other letters, Ginny’s dedication and experience in town work from FHUSD Board member to town councilwoman, as well as having been a charter member of the Fountain Hills Cultural Council Board, Community Theater Board and many others, chronicles her long-time involvement in this town.
I also believe that her priorities about keeping the small-town charm we enjoy, maintaining the infrastructure that we all count on, keeping our community safe and prioritization of great schools as an economic engine are right on.
Finally, Ginny is a great collaborator and will work hard to interact with the community and the council and staff with respect. I trust her sincerity and her cooperative approach to solving our town’s challenges.
