As a gay male and knowing full well the face of stigma, discrimination and injustice, I applaud the recent verdict regarding justice for George Floyd.

More important, what resonated for me was the voice, message and support that our Democratic president gave to African Americans and Floyd’s suffering family. This is what justice, and a leader, looks like.

Thank you, Biden!
