The Chamber Expo is changing things up a bit this year, complementing its usual suite of local businesses, clubs and organizations with free health seminars spread throughout the day.

This annual event is always a great way for residents new and old to learn more about their community, and this year’s health seminars will add yet another reason for folks to drop by and learn from their neighbors.

In the front lobby and ballroom of the Community Center will be the expected assortment of booths featuring restaurants with samples on offer, club members eager to talk about their activities, local businesses ready to talk about their services and much, much more. Down the hall in various rooms will be health seminars, covering everything from preparing for an emergency to weight management, fall prevention and more.

The main expo and the talks are all free, though it is asked that anyone interested in attending one of the talks register early at bit.ly/2P5Qhqf. Walk-ins are welcome, but organizers would like to get a head count if possible. That web address offers everything you need to know, including the names, locations, details and time of each seminar.

Combine that with the 55-plus businesses and organizations expected to attend and Fountain Hills residents should have plenty of reasons to drop by the Chamber of Commerce Community & Health Expo on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 3 to 6 p.m.
