William Charles Hack of Fountain Hills passed away June 12, 2019, at home and is at peace.
Bill was born in Sacramento, Calif. He served in the U.S. Navy and had a successful career with various newspaper publications. His career as director of technology allowed him to travel the world. His last 20 years was here with The Arizona Republic.
He had a sense of humor and wit that made him beloved by all. He loved golf, scotch and cigars not always in that order. He was the “rock” of the family to wife Bonnie and stepdaughter Mackenzie. He was loved and will be missed by family and so many friends.
Bill is survived by Bonnie (wife), Mackenzie (stepdaughter), Bill, Jr. (son), Terry (daughter), Robin (son), Jim (brother) and six grandkids.
A memorial service will be held Friday July 20, at 11 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd. 85012.
