Pauline “Polly” Pollock, 90, of Fountain Hills died Jan. 25, 2019.

She was born on Dec. 12, 1928 in DeKalb, Ill. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 1950. Six weeks before graduation she met the love of her life, Robert Pollock. They began their married life in Independence, Mo. and lived most of their lives in the Detroit area where Robert had a long career with Ford Motor Company. Polly was a stay-at-home mom who earned the title of “Best Mom on Earth” from her kids.

Polly and Robert moved to Fountain Hills in 1987 and loved it. They enjoyed traveling the southwest and playing golf. Polly was an original member of the Friendship Circle in Fountain Hills. In recent years she became an avid Arizona Diamondbacks fan and went to many games.

Polly is survived by a son, Robert (Carla) of Columbia, Mo.; daughter, Melinda of Fountain Hills; two grandsons, Robert (Kelly) and Gregory Pollock; one great grandson, Raiden Pollock.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of the Valley. Services will be private.
