Pamela Jane Anderson, 69, of Fountain Hills passed away peacefully on Sept. 12, 2018, in her home.
Pamela was born on July 21, 1949, in Duluth, Minn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Margaret Nelson, and her brother, Thomas. She is survived by two sisters, Janice and Kimberly.
She graduated from Denfeld High School in Duluth, Minn. in 1967; and earned an associate’s degree from Maric College, in Escondido, Calif., as a medical assistant in 1993.
Pamela worked in several different specialties within private practices, until she ultimately retired in 2011. She has resided in Fountain Hills for the past six years.
Pamela leaves behind three children, Rob, Nikki (Ken), and Sunny (Chris); two step-daughters, Jennifer and Katie; and eleven grandchildren.
Pamela married her husband, John, in 1989, and is survived by him. Pamela will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her sense of humor; but more importantly for the love and devotion to her children and grandchildren.
A private celebration of life for Pamela will be held in the near future for family members and close friends. The family has requested donations be made to the American Brain Tumor Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
