Carmine Kaye (Jensen) McCown passed away on Jan. 6, 2019, after fighting small cell carcinoma for a year.
She was born Sept. 21, 1943; in Austin Minn. to Carl and Kathryn Jensen. She graduated from Austin High School in 1961. She transferred from Mayo Rochester Campus to Mayo Scottsdale when they opened and retired from there.
In 1993 she married Ron McCown. They made their home in Fountain Hills.
Carmine is survived by her husband, Ron; sister, Denise Nelson; son, Trent (Jeri) Maxfield; daughters, Tracy Johnson and Shelly Maxfield and, stepson RJ McCown; six grandchildren and one great grandson. Blessed be her memory.
A wake is going to take place on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church from 2 to 4 p.m.
