The Golden Eagle Education Foundation (GEEF) has entered the final stages of one of its many projects, the scholarship program.
Thanks to generous contributions from the GEEF donors, 35 scholarships are available for 2019 Fountain Hills High School seniors.
Application forms for the scholarships are available online at fhgeef.org. Application packets submitted must include a personal resume, high school transcript, recommendation forms and required essays. Only one set of forms are needed for all the scholarships a student would like to apply for.
Applications are due on March 22 to the high school counselor office by noon. Winners will be announced on May 8 at Senior Recognition night.
During Senior Recognition Night, GEEF scholarships will be awarded alongside honors including outside scholarships and various other recognitions. Fountain Hills High School will recognize its outstanding seniors during this event, and the winner of the Silver Falcon Award will be announced, the individual the senior class has selected to speak during the graduation commencement ceremony this spring.
