McDowell Mountain Elementary School registration round-up

The chance to take part in early registration at McDowell Mountain Elementary School for your kindergartener or preschooler is just around the corner.

The annual MMES Round-up will be a two-day event taking place Thursday, Feb. 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 22, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The Round-up is an opportunity for parents to complete enrollment packets for the 2019-20 school year, meet MMES’ kindergarten teachers and receive a tour of the school from Principal, Valerie Dehombreux.

Parents of kindergarteners must bring their child along to complete a pre-assessment with teachers to assess strengths and needs. Preschoolers are not required to attend but all children are welcome.

Parents will also need to bring with them an original birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency such as a lease agreement, a utility bill or a driver’s license with name and address on it.
